Dear WHS Parents/Guardians:
Schools in New Jersey are required to conduct security drills once a month during the school year.The law requires school districts to notify students, staff, and parents when a school security drill is conducted during the school day. Additionally, students and staff are notified at the conclusion of the drill that it was just a drill and that no danger exists.
This email is to notify you that Whitehouse School held a security drill at approximately 9:15 a.m. today.The routine security drill went smoothly.
New! Board of Education Member Vacancy - The Readington Township Board of Education is seeking a township resident to fill a board member seat which was recently vacated. The sale will be open through the end of June and the kits will be delivered directly to your child's school before September and will be ready when they arrive in their new class! Scholarship - The Readington Township Home School Association (H.S.A.) is accepting applications from high school seniors and college students for our Annual Scholarship Awards for the upcoming (2025-6) school year! A total of $2,000 in scholarships will be awarded to former Readington Township students this year. Please visit the HSA website for information and to fill out the application.

We need Parent Volunteers to help make this day successful and safe for our kids. WHS Wet & Mild Day - Back by popular demand, the HSA is proud to sponsor another wonderful GIVEBACK for our Whitehouse School Students on Friday, June 13th (Rain Date: Wednesday, June 18th). This year we will have not one but TWO water inflatables with one being an 18' slide and another being a dual lane inflatable slip and slide. We will also have a sprinkler and some fun water play with tables, etc. The kids are going to have an absolute blast courtesy of our HSA and Bouncin' Blast rentals.
Your children are in for a real treat because after they get Wet, they'll be able to enjoy a cup of Ritas.
Please make sure that you send in a bathing suit, a towel and a change of clothes in a bag with your child's name on it.
We have plenty of opportunities for parent volunteers so please click below to sign up.

Summer Spark ~ Enrichment Program - Our Summer Spark Program runs this summer July 21-25 and July 28-31. Both weeks offer full or half days, with an optional early drop off at 8:30. New this year is a combined Cooking/Crafting class the week of July 21 as well as "Run & Games" where Coaches Tipton and Caballero lead kids in fun team games and an introduction into cross country running. If you see a class that is full, please email Summer Enrichment to get on its waiting list.

New! Summer Social Skills Program Opportunity for students who may benefit from extra support in building social skills. Child Play Therapy with A Family Connection is offering a six-week summer program called Socially Powerful Kids, designed specifically to help children grow in confidence, emotional regulation, communication, and peer interaction. Clothing & Used Items Drive - The H.S.A. Spring Clothing Drive is set to kick off on May 8th and will continue until May 16th. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the H.S.A. while helping those in need. You can drop off donations at the following locations:

3rd Grade Event - We are thrilled to organize an event at Frenchtown Roller Rink for third graders from Whitehouse School and Three Bridges School to socialize before transitioning to Holland Brook School. To ensure that the highest number of 3rd graders can participate in this event, please click here to choose the dates when your child is available to attend. Questions? Celebrate your graduate with a custom yard sign! - The signs are a way to celebrate your 3rd grader, 5th grader or 8th grader graduation and are intended for display in a lawn. They come with a metal stake to put them in the ground and the signs are 18 inches tall by 24 inches wide. There is one sign per grade or school available for sale.
Estimated sign arrival is early June. Pick-up schedule dates and times will be communicated via the email provided when ordering. Please click here to order.
