Students at Whitehouse School receive 50 minutes of weekly music instruction. Lessons are aligned with the state and national standards for music education. Students will sing and play instruments, read musical notation, compose and improvise. We will also explore composers, music history, music's relationship to other disciplines and musical careers. A strong emphasis is placed on the development of social-emotional learning skills through play-based activities. I am looking forward to having a wonderful year with your child.
