April is grit month at Whitehouse School.  We are focusing on the importance of being steadfast when we complete a task and not giving up until the job is finished.  Please continue to discuss acts of good character with your child as he/she earns your permission to shade in pieces from his/her bucket filler puzzle.  Your child has already received a copy, but you can click here to download another copy of the Grit bucket.

    WHS Ninja Challenge Day!

We are thrilled to announce that the H.S.A. is funding another special event for us on May 23!  Students will be able to complete an exciting obstacle course that is coming to Whitehouse School.  Click here to see a picture from the company’s brochure.

Your child will need your permission to participate.  The Child’s Play company requires that you sign this waiver.  All waivers are due to your child’s classroom teacher by May 13.  We are also sending home hard copies of the waiver for convenience.  Thank you!

    WHS Drill Conducted Today

    Dear WHS Parents/Guardians:

Schools in New Jersey are required to conduct security drills once a month during the school year.  A new law, P.O. 2021, c.365, has gone into effect that requires school districts to notify students, staff, and parents when a school security drill is conducted during the school day.  Additionally, students and staff are notified at the conclusion of the drill that it was just a drill and that no danger exists.

This email is to notify you that Whitehouse School held a security drill at approximately 9:44am today.  The routine security drill went smoothly.
