Dear Fifth Grader,
Summer is quickly coming to an end and another school year will soon be here! I hope that you are as excited about starting fifth grade as I am to have you in my classes.
Fifth grade will be a very busy and fun-filled year for us. Many interesting projects and activities have been planned for you. My biggest hope is that you enjoy your 5th grade journey and learn a whole lot along the way.
You will be part of the Vance/Buelow team! Mrs. Buelow will be teaching language arts and social studies and Mrs. Vance will be teaching mathematics, social studies and science. Our goal is to help you to be the most successful student you can be!
Time will be given each day for a light snack. I suggest something healthy, such as fruit, cheese and crackers, as well as a juice drink, or water.
Please visit my webpage or the school’s main webpage for a list of grade-level supplies needed for the upcoming school year. Supplies should be brought to school on the first day.
I know you aren’t quite ready for your summer to end, but I am looking forward to a successful and enjoyable year with you! Enjoy the rest of your vacation and I’ll see you in September!
