Welcome to the Readington Township School District

New Student Registration  

New student registrations for all Readington schools are processed through the Board of Education office. 

To register your child, please contact Doreen Harris
at 908-534-2897 or via email at dharris@readington.k12.nj.us. 

             1.    Birth Certificate – The child’s birth certificate must be presented. 
             
             2.    Proof of Residency –  The following documents are acceptable:
                    a.        Deed or Lease
                    b.        Contract of Sale (prior to closing)
                    c.        Closing Statement
                    d.        Mortgage Statement

If the above documents are not available, two of the following documents must be presented (documents need to be current and show family name and Readington address):

                   a.      Utility Bill (e.g., JCP&L)
                   b.      Television Bill (e.g., Comcast)
                   c.      Telephone Bill/Cell Phone Bill
                   d.      Current Bank Statement
                   e.      New Jersey Vehicle Registration
                   f.       Voter Registration
                   g.      Other acceptable Proof of Residency as per NJSA 18A: NJAC 6A

           3.    Health Records – Immunization records and a copy of the student's recent physical examination (done within the past year) are required from previous school or personal records from the family doctor.  Please click here to view the list of required immunizations.  Click here for a PreK - Grade 5 Student Health and Physical Exam Form; click here for the Grades 6-8 Physical Form.   (Note to Grades 6-8 Parents:  if your child will be participating in middle school sports, click here for more information and additional forms for completion.)

          4.    Registration Documents – Please print and complete each of the following forms a-g (one complete set per child/form g - please select the school appropriate form). 

                 a.       Registration Form
                 b.       Family Record Form  (photo not required)
                 c.       Health History Form               
                 d.       Certificate of Residency Form   
                 e.       Home Language Survey Form - English
                 f.        Internet Connectivity Form   
                 g.       TBS Request for Records Form
                           WHS Request for Records Form
                           HBS Request for Records Form
                           RMS Request for Records Form

All families need to complete the Home Language Form listed above. This form is available for families to complete in a variety of other languages:
