    All grade levels read the book Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet.  "Balloons Over Broadway" is a children's picture book that tells the true story of Tony Sarg, a puppeteer who invented the first giant inflatable balloons for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

     

    The Kindergartner and 1st grade classes used our friendly Bee Bot robots to navigate the parade route.  The 2nd and 3rd grade classes learned how to code using Blockley.  All classes programmed the Dash robots to complete the parade route.

     

    Many students created balloons out of paper plates and tape.  These balloons are featured in our class videos.  Each class video can be found in the STEM Lab/Technology Google Classroom.  (Note: Some classes are still working on this project.)
