The Facilities Department annually completes several large scale capital projects and dozens of smaller maintenance projects to improve the district's buildings and grounds in hopes of achieving a more optimal learning environment for students, staff and the community at large. The vast majority of the department's projects are funded outside the local tax levy through reserves established over the course of the past years through prudent fiscal restraint and planning. The in-house maintenance and custodial staff have helped achieve these tremendous upgrades, and truly reflect the hard work of the department.
