Dear Three Bridges Elementary School Families,

This email is to notify you that Three Bridges Elementary School held a security drill today, 5/7/2025. This was just a drill and there was no danger or emergency. Your child’s safety and well-being are a top priority at all times.

School safety drills are mandated by the NJ Department of Education Office of School Preparedness and Emergency Planning. Our security drills are conducted with proper protocols and procedures and with prior consultation and with local, county, and state emergency personnel. State law, P.L. 2021, c.365, requires school districts to notify students, staff, and parents when a school security drill is conducted during the school day. Additionally, students and staff are notified at the conclusion of the drill that it was just a drill and that no danger exists.

We want to thank the students and staff for conducting this drill. At the conclusion of the drill, the students and staff were complimented for doing their part by being attentive and appropriately participating in this exercise.

    Sincerely,
    Dr. Kristen Higgins
    Principal, Three Bridges Elementary School
