A story map is an excellent way of recording the important information from a story. The following story map may be adapted for use when reading any story. It is annotated for those of you who have forgotten what the elements may mean.

Is he/she quiet, strong, moody, difficult to get along with, sneaky? Etc…

TURNING POINT:(_What action is taking place in the story as things story TURNS toward the resolution/ when the problem becomes evident to the main character!)
