Readington Township School District participates in the New Jersey Department of Education Governor's Educator of the Year Program each year. This program recognizes excellence in education, a direct result of the hard work of our outstanding classroom teachers and educational service professionals. One of the most meaningful gestures to show appreciation to our educators would be to nominate them for the Governor's Educator of the Year recognition. To make a nomination, please complete the nomination form and return it to your building principal by November 1, 2024. For more information, please click here

Hunterdon County Vocational School District invites middle school students and their families to attend an information session to learn more about full-time Career & Technical Education programs for high school. 8th grade students are eligible to apply for the 2025-2026 school year now through December 15th.The Academies* (Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science & Applied Engineering, & Environmental Sustainability & Applied Engineering) are rigorous programs with competitive admissions offering opportunities to earn multiple college credits. There will be 4 information sessions regarding information about the Academies. Students and families interested in learning more about the different programs offered should attend one of the following information sessions. The dates & locations are as follows:Each session will begin at 6pm. Registration is required for attendance. Please click here to register for a session.The PolyTech programs** (Animal Science, Culinary Arts & Hospitality, Welding Technology, Advanced Manufacturing & Aeronautical Sciences, Diesel & Power Sports Technology, & Electrical Technology) are highly focused programs offering industry certifications or college credits to ensure students are workforce or college-ready. Students interested in one of the PolyTech Programs should attend the PolyTech Open House on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 6pm located at the current PolyTech building (10 Junction Rd. School Bus Drivers & Preschool Bus Aides Wanted
The district is currently seeking school bus drivers and preschool bus aides. School bus drivers are eligible for health and dental benefits, a pension or 403b with match, and the district has a CDL training program for those without licenses. Pay is up to $33/hour. Preschool bus aides can earn a stipend up to $4,525 for 1 hour of work per day for the school year. Interested persons can apply online or contact Jason M. 6th Grade Student Presentation - Don't Get Vaped on 10/23 and 10/24
Attention 6th Grade Families: RMS is pleased to bring back NJ Prevention Resources's "Don't Get Vaped" presentation for all 6th grade students during their Science classes on 10/23 or 10/24. Below is an overview of the presentation:
Don’t get vaped is a program designed to teach the dangers of vaping, the risk of addiction while also teaching about the power of advertising from tobacco/vape companies. We discuss why teens vape, the role of the internet and social media, as well as peer pressure. We look at the physical and mental health impacts of vaping. Vaping marijuana is included in this program. We also discuss how to quit and the resources that are available. Please see links below for more information.NEW! The RMS Halloween Costume Bash will be held on Friday, October 25th, from 6:00pm–8:00pm. There will be Prizes, Games, Costumes, Group Costumes, Pizza, a DJ and lots of Fun. Cell phones will be collected at the door and returned before the end of the dance to ensure maximum positive student interaction! The district is currently seeking school bus drivers and preschool bus aides. School bus drivers are eligible for health and dental benefits, a pension or 403b with match, and the district has a CDL training program for those without licenses. Pay is up to $33/hour. Preschool bus aides can earn a stipend up to $4,525 for 1 hour of work per day for the school year. Interested persons can apply online or contact Jason M.
