    DECEMBER 23, 2020

RMS Monthly Calendar - Please click here to view the January Calendar.

Travel and Gathering Reminders - As we approach Winter Recess, we want to remind you of the travel restrictions imposed by Governor Murphy.  The greatest risk of travel, of course, is exposing yourself and your children to an increased risk of contracting the virus. In addition, traveling to various destinations requires that you quarantine when you return home to New Jersey for 14 days.  Where the 14-day quarantine period overlaps with the school calendar, it results in your children’s inability to return to in-person instruction, which causes a disruption to their educational program.  Please click here for updated travel restrictions.  During Winter Recess gathering with individuals outside of your household can pose an increased risk to you and your immediate family.  The CDC has issued guidance regarding safety and get-togethers during the holiday season.  This includes wearing a mask, maintaining a 6-foot distance from those who do not live with you, and washing hands.  For more information on conducting a safe celebration, visit the CDC website.  Have a safe break!

Hunterdon County/Free At-Home COVID Testing - Hunterdon County is offering free at-home COVID-19 testing for those who work or reside in Hunterdon County.  Please refer to this link for more details: https://hunterdoncares.org/

Message from the School Nurses – COVID Update 12-9-2020 - Please click here to see a message from the school nurses with updated information on when to keep your child home from school when they are feeling sick and when you are required to quarantine due to travel to restricted locations. Included is a helpful chart on Why You Can’t Test Out of COVID-19 Quarantine.

NEW IMPORTANT PARENT REMINDER - Any students who opt to work virtually on their scheduled in-person day, must still complete the Covid Assurance Form by 7AM and contact the school office on 534-2113, prompt #1.  The health and safety of our students and staff continue to be our first priority.  Please continue to follow strict health and safety guidelines. The daily screening forms are very important for each school to monitor the health and safety of all students, staff, and faculty. You will begin to receive text reminders to complete the Covid Assurance form.  Thank you for your continuous support and your flexibility as we strive to balance the academic and health needs of our students and our community.
