    Hunterdon Healthcare June 9 Vaccination Clinic - Sleeves up for summer! Summer is right around the corner and many of the summer activities we missed last year are coming back. Outdoor entertainment, sporting events, summer camps, and group vacations are just some of the summertime activities starting to populate family calendars, so take the opportunity now to get your COVID-19 vaccine and enjoy the summer knowing you and your loved ones are vaccinated. We are hosting a Pfizer vaccination clinic on June 9, 2021, at Hunterdon Medical Center. Late afternoon appointments will be available to all individuals 12 years and older who live, work, or go to school in the State of New Jersey. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. To schedule an appointment online, please click here. To schedule by phone, please call (908) 237-4238 on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our representatives will be happy to help you schedule an appointment. On the day of your appointment please follow our Hunterdon Heart signs lining the road on the left side of Hunterdon Medical Center, leading to the rear of the hospital. When you approach the rear of the building you will be greeted by an attendant who will show you where to park and also provide you with the necessary vaccine paperwork to complete before you enter the hospital.     Library books due - Please note that all library books are due back to the Library Media Center on Tuesday, June 1st, in order to close out the school year and prepare for Summer Checkout.  Students will receive overdue notices this week, or can check Destiny on their own, for what is currently outstanding.

    Honor Your Graduating 8th Grader - It's been a memorable three years!  Honor your graduating 8th grader with a book donated to the RMS Library Media Center in their name. We'll include a nameplate on the inside cover of the book proclaiming "I was here first!"  We will also include a star with their name  in the LMC--a lasting and visible tribute! It's easy!  Just visit the RMS Adopt-a-Book Wish List on Amazon to send a book directly to RMS.   Contact Mrs. Singer or view the webpage for more information.  PLEASE-include your child's name when the book is sent to Mrs. Singer, so that the book can honor the correct student.

    Face Covering Reminder - Please note page 6 of the Readington Ready Plan states that all staff and visitors will be required to wear face coverings at all times.  Therefore, face coverings must be worn indoors and outdoors during parent drop-off or parent pick-up.  Visitors are required to wear face coverings at all times while on school property.  As a school community, we must be vigilant in adhering to this requirement.

    Program Recognition Award Winners - The Readington H.S.A. is proud to recognize our 2021 Program Recognition Award Winners, Mr. Hylkema's extracurricular music programs and Mrs. Birmingham's Garden Club at Readington Middle School.  Each program will receive $150 as part of the award.  Congratulations to both of these wonderful programs that enrich our students' educational experiences!

    Pfizer COVID Vaccine Clinic - Hunterdon Healthcare will be hosting a Pfizer COVID Vaccine Clinic on Saturday, May 22 from 9 am to 12 pm. Appointments can be scheduled for anyone that is 12 years of age or older.  Please call the Hunterdon Healthcare Vaccine Call Center at 908-237-4238 to schedule. (Children must be accompanied by an adult.)

    8th Grade Graduation Lawn Signs - Let's celebrate our 8th Graders Graduating out of our Readington School District and our 5th & 3rd Graders moving on to new schools!  The Readington HSA has partnered with Printech in Flemington to offer 18x24 Graduation Lawn signs. These signs will have a placeholder where you or your student can write in/decorate their name or leave them blank.Signs are $12/sign (including stakes).  Order now by clicking here in PTBoard .  Ordering will be available from Wednesday 5/19/21 through Monday 5/24/21.  Signs should be delivered around the first week of June. Pick up is still being determined, and will be advised to those that order ASAP.

    H.S.A. Business Meeting - Join us for the last open public Business Meeting of the school year tonight, May 12, starting at 7 p.m. via Zoom.  Joining information is in the agenda attached.  The winners of the Program Recognition Award will be announced at the meeting.
     
    "Graduation" Lawn Signs Sale - The Readington H.S.A. is offering Graduation lawn signs for 3rd, 5th, and 8th graders moving on to new schools in the fall.  Cost is $12 per sign.  There will be a place for you to write your child's name on the sign if you choose.  Watch for a PTBoard announcement later this week when the sale opens.  For questions contact Alicia Rosell at anrosell22@gmail.com.

    SCHOLARSHIP ALERT!The H.S.A. is now accepting applications from current undergraduate college students for our Annual Scholarship Awards for the upcoming (2021-22) school year.  A total of $2,000 in scholarships will be awarded to Readington Township students. Deadline is June 11, 2021.
