    Spring Sports Forms - The deadline for registering for Spring Sports 2022 is Monday, February 27th! Please visit the nurse's page to access the forms required. Forms can be turned into the Nurse's Office or emailed to sportsforms@readington.k12.nj.us. The first day for tryouts is Tuesday, March 21st!    

    RMS Musical Is Almost here - The RMS Drama club is proud to present: Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Jr.! Shows are this Thursday, March 2nd and Friday March 3rd at 7pm.  Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door. You don't want to miss this golden ticket opportunity!! 

    Shannon Daly Basketball Game - The Shannon Daley Charity Basketball Game between the Readington Teachers and the Men's All Stars versus The Harlem Wizards will take place on Tuesday, March 7, at 7pm at the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Field House.  Advance tickets are $10 for Adults and $5 for children under 12.  All tickets sold at the door are $10.  Please see Mr. Casertano for tickets.

    American Heart Association Heart Challenge - Attention RMS families: Get ready for the American Heart Association’s American Heart Challenge (AHC).  Please help your child register today, under our school, at heart.org/AHC. Once you've registered, start Finn’s Mission and complete the challenges. As a family you can help to create a community of lifesavers by learning the lifesaving steps of Hands-Only CPR. It’s quick, easy, and fun!     Author Visit Coming up! - Nationally renowned author Jordan Sonnenblick will be coming to RMS on Tuesday, March 28th, for a special event.  This day will include school-wide presentations on his writing, as well as a personal book-signing opportunity.  Feel free to order one of his books from your bookseller or website of choice for your student to bring in and have personalized and autographed in a special meet-and-greet that day.  Click here for a list of titles.   Not sure if your student will remember to bring it in?  Have it sent to Mrs. Singer with their name and she'll hold onto it for you!

    Gifted and Talented Program Nominations - The Readington Township School District will begin accepting parent nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program for students in 1st-7th grade on February 1st. All parent nomination forms must be completed online no later than March 24th.  Since the assessment process will begin immediately following the nomination deadline, late entries cannot be accepted.  If you are interested in nominating your child for the G&T program, please follow the link below.

    Cook's Night Off – Wednesday 3/1/23 at Buffalo Wild Wings - Flemington NJ - It’s that time again for a Cook’s Night off! New this year, the Readington H.S.A. is partnering with Buffalo Wild Wings, for this fun night off from cooking on Wednesday, March 1st! RMS is unique and is going to do something differently.....  GIFT CARDS GALORE!!!!!  We are asking that families please donate a gift card to put together what will be the most popular basket at the Tricky Tray!!!! Everyone LOVES a gift card!!! The more gift cards we receive, the bigger and better the basket(s) will be....and therefore making the event even that much better!!!

    Kindness Certified School - During the week of January 23, 2023, RMS, and the entire Readington Township School District, participated in the Great Kindness Challenge.  Due to our participation in this wonderful event, RMS is now a Kindness Certified School!

    RMS Valentine’s Day Blast - The RMS Valentine's Day Blast will be held on February 10th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.  There will be Music, Prizes, Games, Food, Drinks and lots of Fun!  Also, please be advised that phones will be collected at the bus loop doors when the students arrive and returned to the students at the end of the night.  Please fill out this permission slip  to attend.

    Souper Bowl Food Drive - Super Bowl 57 is here! Please donate some soup for the RMS Student Council Souper Bowl Food Drive.  Will Jalen Hurts’ and the Eagles pass rush soar to victory or will Pat Mahomes and Andy Reid’s Chiefs win another title?? We want to hear what you think will happen. Show support for your team and for those in need by placing a can of soup or a non-perishable food item donation below the helmet of the team you think will win the Big Game. The helmets are located in the area down the hall from the bus doors. All donations will go towards the Flemington Food Pantry.  As of today, the Eagles are up 27 to 3.

    Maschio's New Lunch Offering - Maschio's is pleased to reintroduce the Salad Bar in your Cafeteria.  Beginning February 6, the Salad Bar will be available daily for all staff and students to enjoy.  Please see the attached flyer for complete details.

    PreSchool Registration – The Readington Township School District is currently accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year.  If you are interested in having your child attend the preschool program, please complete and return the application by March 31, 2023.  Children must be 4 years old by October 1, 2023, and toilet trained to be eligible. Acceptance to the program is based on a lottery system.  The lottery will be held on April 3, 2023.  All applicants will be contacted regarding their application status following the lottery.   To access the application, please click here.

    Kindergarten Pre-Registration – The Readington Township School District is currently conducting Full-Day Kindergarten and First Grade pre-registration for the 2023-2024 school year.  If your child will be attending kindergarten or entering first grade from a private kindergarten in fall 2023, please call either Three Bridges School at 908-782-2141 or Whitehouse School at 908-534-4411 to pre-register.  Please pre-register and attend the in-person registration days at Three Bridges School or Whitehouse School on Thursday, February 23, 2023, and Friday, February 24, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.  For more information, please click here

    2. All 8th grade teacher course recommendations for students’ core classes have been uploaded to Aspen. You will be able to view your child’s course recommendations during this time.  Please know your child will need to enter 10 credits of electives as well as two alternatives for each class.  If your child is interested in participating in a sport at Hunterdon Central, it is important that your child indicate this on Aspen.
