gglackin@readington.k12.nj.usThe district is pleased to offer preschool full-day programs at no cost to parents who live in Readington Township. If you wish to enroll your child in Preschool, please follow the registration instructions below.
Eligibility: To be eligible to enter Preschool in September 2025, your child must be three years of age on or before October 1, 2025.
Who is required to register? Students who will be entering any of the Readington Schools or the Readington-funded preschools (in-district and private providers) for the first time must register.

Step One: Complete the Online Registration Process: CLICK HERE
Step Two: Print the required forms indicated during the online registration process. Required forms to print: Health History Form, Proof of Residency Form, Internet Connectivity Form, Dental Examination Form, and the Daycare Transportation Form.
Step Three: Schedule your New Student Registration Appointment during the online registration process. Appointments are available on Thursday, February 20, or Friday, February 21, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Appointments will take place at Board of Education Office. Step Four: Please bring the following documents with you to your New Student Registration Appointment: birth certificate, physical/immunization records, and proof of residency. If your child has an IEP, please provide a copy. If your child has Parental/Guardian Custody Restrictions, please provide documentation/copy for our records.
Physical/Immunization Records: Immunization records and a copy of the student's recent physical examination (done within the past year) are required from previous school or personal records from the family doctor. Proof of Residency: The following documents are acceptable:
- Deed or Lease
- Contract of Sale (before closing)
- Closing Statement
- Mortgage Statement
If the above documents are not available, two of the following documents must be presented (documents need to be current and show family name and Readington address):- Utility Bill (JCP&L, PSE&G, etc.)
- Television Bill (Comcast, etc.)
- Telephone Bill/Cell Phone Bill
- Current Bank Statement
- New Jersey Vehicle Registration
- Voter Registration
- Other acceptable Proof of Residency as per NJSA 18A: NJAC 6A
Important Preschool Information: The Readington Township School District offers free preschool for eligible students. We do this using a mixed delivery model. This means the district operates preschool classes at both in-district and private preschool provider locations. Those locations are Three Bridges School, Whitehouse School, Whitehouse Prep, Stanton Learning Center, Berry Patch, and Global Pioneer Academy. Parents wishing to enroll their child in preschool will be able to rank-order their preference for where their child attends at the registration appointment. However, transportation limitations do exist when providing school buses to the private preschool locations.
