Dr. Jonathan Hart has been named Superintendent of Schools for the Readington Township School District, effective July 1, 2018. Dr. Hart’s appointment was approved by the Readington Township Board of Education at their meeting on April 10, 2018.
Prior to coming to Readington, Dr. Hart served as Director of Human Resources for the Marlboro Township School District. His previous experience also includes appointments as Acting Assistant Superintendent and Assistant Director of Special Services for the Flemington-Raritan School District; Supervisor of Special Services and Curriculum for the Hainesport Schools District; and Gifted Education Specialist and Grade 3 teacher for the Flemington-Raritan School District.
Dr. Hart has also been an Adjunct Instructor at Cabrini University and at The College of New Jersey. After receiving a B.A. in Psychology from Gettysburg College, Dr. Hart received a M.Ed. in Reading and Language Arts from The College of New Jersey. He later received a Certificate in Educational Leadership for Aspiring Principals from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Temple University.
Dr. Hart and his wife, Kara, live in Pennington, NJ with their sons Luke and Logan. The Harts enjoy spending time on Long Beach Island.Correspondence from the Superintendent's Office 2024-2025 School Year
