NEW! The TBS SCIENCE FAIR IS COMING- THIS IS THE FINAL WEEK FOR SIGNING UP!: The Science Fair will be held on two nights in February. Monday, the 24th is reserved for kindergarten and first grade, and Tuesday 25th for second and third grade. The fair will take place from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. both evenings. NEW! RMS Barnes & Noble Book Fair is this Thursday!: RMS's Barnes & Noble Book Fair takes place this Thursday, February 13th, from 5:00-7:30 pm to the Somerville Circle Barnes & Noble store. This year's event theme is “Reading is Sweet!” and will feature student performances, in-store challenges and activities, and a student vs. teacher competition, as well as the opportunity to pick up a little Valentine’s Day treat for those you love! Students are expected to have an adult with them in the store while they attend. Not able to join us? Shop online and use the book fair code 12822615 between now and Monday, February 17th, to help support us.
NEW! Gifted and Talented Parent Nominations Grades K-3: The Readington Township School District will begin accepting parent nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program for students in 1st-7th grade on February 1st. All parent nomination forms must be completed online no later than March 21st. Since the assessment process will begin immediately following the nomination deadline, late entries cannot be accepted. If you are interested in nominating your child for the G&T program, please follow the link below. Students already participating in the GT program do not need to reapply.

Evening conference times will be available on Thursday, March 6. Please use the Genesis Parent Portal to schedule your conference. The window for scheduling your conference will open on Tuesday, February 18 at 8:00am, and close on Tuesday, March 4 at 3:00pm. Please follow the instructions below to sign up for an available time slot:
Go to the Genesis Parent Portal
1.Click on the “Conference” Tab
2. Click “Request a Conference
3. Change the “Week of” to the week in March that corresponds with conferences (using drop down arrow)
4. Click on the date you prefer and the teacher’s times will appear.
5. Select the time you would like to have your conference.
6. You will be given a choice for a virtual/in-person conference.
7. The color will change to show that you have been added to the conference.
8. Sunshine Math: Dear Parents, Kindergarten and First Grade Sunshine Math will begin on Monday, January 13th, 2025. Students who choose to participate will complete their challenge before Spring Break. The schedule is posted for your reference. For those of you who are not familiar with the program, Sunshine Math is a voluntary Schoolwide Enrichment Program available to any students who want to try the problems each week. It is a 10-week program designed to complement the regular math curriculum that we have at Three Bridges School. Sunshine Math problems are meant to be challenging and engaging. Participating students complete the challenges at home each week and return their papers to the Sunshine Math envelope in their classroom. I will distribute challenges to participating students each week. Participating students are expected to complete all ten weeks, and will be recognized with an award for their efforts! The process for participating in Sunshine Math is simple. If your child wants to participate, have them complete week 1 by Friday, January 17th Your child’s completed challenge sheet is their registration for Sunshine Math. For the next 9 weeks, they will get a weekly math challenge page, following the schedule listed below. Thank you for allowing your child to embark on this mathematical adventure. You can register as a team (of 4-6 people) or as an individual. If you’re flying solo, no worries—we’ll match you up with others who have similarly-aged kids!

By holding the event over two nights we hope to eliminate the crowding issues and also allow an element of flexibility for students who would like to participate but have other commitments. If you cannot attend the night that is scheduled for your grade level, please indicate that on the Google sign up form. If your child would like to work and present with a sibling or friend (who must also attend TBS), please also note that on the registration form.
