What's Special About Readington Schools?

  • What's special about Readington Schools?
The Readington Township School District serves approximately 1400 students and includes two K-3 buildings, one 4-5 building, and a middle school that houses 6th-8th graders. Located in beautiful Hunterdon County, Readington Township is a community that supports education, civic-mindedness, a positive work ethic, and sound character. The school district's curriculum and high student achievement reflect these strong community values and the collaborative efforts of school staff and families. Additionally, the schools address the diverse learning needs of all students through thoughtfully planned differentiation of instruction and through a variety of differentiated programs in academic areas. The visual and performing arts as well as the after-school opportunities provide students with a well-balanced program.

    Celebration
Our district looks for ways to celebrate our staff.  Welcoming staff members to our opening day celebration is one of our most proud moments to honor our staff.  We energize the staff with keynote speakers and provide give-aways to honor those who receive tenure and earn longevity in the district.  Staff are often invited to Board of Education meetings to receive recognition for their hard work and dedication to our students.
