Readington Middle School’s Girls Basketball A team finished their season with an outstanding 21-1 record, winning both the Central Jersey Junior Basketball League regular season and February 15th post-season tournament.  “These girls have played together at RMS since 6th grade,” commented Coach Adam Connelly.  “I am beyond proud of the student-athletes they have become.  Their character on and off the court is something unmatched in my years as a coach here and beyond.”

In the championship game, the Readington girls battled J.P. Case Middle School’s team, who had finished second behind Readington in the regular season standings and gave Readington their only loss of the season.  When the championship game ended, Readington was victorious after two 3-point shots from Emily Mason (a soccer player who just happened to play basketball in middle school) and a critical foul shot by Riley Cooper in the final minute to finish the game with a 45-43 score.
