Readington Community Votes YES! Bond Referendum Passes

Readington Township School District

Dear Readington Community,

We are thrilled to announce that the Readington Township School Bond Referendum has been approved by the voters in the General Election! The unofficial results show the following totals:

5,233 Yes Votes
2,771 No Votes

This is a monumental victory for our schools and our community's future. The passing of the referendum ensures that we can proceed with essential infrastructure upgrades, enhance student learning spaces and secure the future of our educational facilities.

This approval allows the district to unlock approximately $12 million in state aid, maximizing the value of your local investment while funding crucial projects.

Next Steps: The Board of Education will now move forward with the necessary steps to secure the bonding and commence the project planning phase. We will continue to provide updates as we work to deliver on the promises of this referendum.

Thank you to every voter for participating in this vital decision for Readington Township.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Hart, Ph.D.
Superintendent of Schools
