Welcome to the Readington Township Public Schools preschool page!  

Beginning in the 2023-2024 academic year, we are proud to offer free preschool to eligible 3- and 4-year-old students residing in Readington. We are pleased to announce the free preschool program will continue for the 2026-2027 school year! This remarkable opportunity has been made possible through generous state funding in the amount of approximately 1.6 million dollars of Preschool Education Aid (PEA). We believe that early childhood education is the foundation upon which future academic success is built, and we are committed to providing this invaluable opportunity to our community.

Preschool plays a crucial role in preparing children for kindergarten and beyond. It fosters cognitive, social, and emotional development, setting a solid educational trajectory for our little ones. By offering this program at no cost to families, we aim to ensure that every child has access to a strong educational foundation regardless of their socioeconomic background.
