Good morning RMS! This is your Principal, Mr. Charleston. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Today is Tuesday, September 10, and today is Day 4.

Any 6th, 7th, or 8th graders who are interested in joining the RMS Student Council as well as all returning members, please attend the interest meeting on Thursday, September 12th at 7:00 AM in the LMC.

Tomorrow, the RMS Student Council presents a Red, White, Blue Spirit Day in honor of Patriot's Day. Make sure to wear your apparel to show solidarity with your RMS peers and staff. Participants will also be entered into our monthly drawing, with a chance to win a prize. Gooooo Vikings!!!

Difference Makers: Interested in creating change around RMS? Seeking a club to get involved and change the culture of our school and spread kindness? Join the Difference Makers! See Mr. Gulino or Ms. Ratanski for a permission slip or grab one yourself outside Room 202. Our first meeting is Wednesday September 18th.

Yearbook Club: Interested in helping to create the yearbook? If you enjoy photography, designing, and being creative, then the RMS Yearbook Club is for you! For more information, see Ms. Ratanski or Mr. Gulino! Permission slips are located outside of room 204 and are due by Friday, September 20th. There are limited spots available, so turn your slips in as soon as you can!

Are you into video games, card games, or board games? Join the RMS Gaming Club! Our first meeting will be on Thursday, September 19th from 2:30-3:30 pm in the Library Media Center. See Ms. Tundidor in Room 203 or Ms. Vail in Room 407 for a permission slip! We hope to see you there!

Our first Spirit Day is Wednesday, September 11. In honor of Patriots Day, wear Red, White and Blue to school on Wednesday.

Fall Sports Tryouts today right after school. I will update you on where tryouts will be held before the end of Day!

The Nature & Garden Club will be meeting on Wednesdays starting Sept. 11. Signup forms can be found outside of Room 214. Please contact Mrs. Birmingham with any questions.
