    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

January Parent Calendar - click here

Travel and Gathering Reminders - As we approach Winter Recess, we want to remind you of the travel restrictions imposed by Governor Murphy.  The greatest risk of travel, of course, is exposing yourself and your children to an increased risk of contracting the virus. In addition, traveling to various destinations requires that you quarantine when you return home to New Jersey for 14 days.  Where the 14-day quarantine period overlaps with the school calendar, it results in your children’s inability to return to in-person instruction, which causes a disruption to their educational program.  Please click here for updated travel restrictions.  During Winter Recess gathering with individuals outside of your household can pose an increased risk to you and your immediate family.  The CDC has issued guidance regarding safety and get-togethers during the holiday season.  This includes wearing a mask, maintaining a 6-foot distance from those who do not live with you, and washing hands.  For more information on conducting a safe celebration, visit the CDC website.  Have a safe break!

Looking for something to keep your children occupied during winter break?  goHunterdon, a local non-profit organization, is sponsoring a winter break interactive contest called the “Power Around Town” Challenge for Hunterdon County students.  Students will get to be superheroes and will need to create a super-powered, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly way to get around their town using Minecraft or similar computer programs. Click Here for contest guidelines.  Deadline is January 4.

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM THE H.S.A.
Families, we want to extend our warmest holiday wishes and hopes for a happy & healthy 2021.  The past year has seen many challenges, but through it all, you have shown your support to the H.S.A. and willingness to help make things special for our TBS school community.  We may have had to stay apart physically, but we found different ways to come together for our children and TBS staff.
"We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day."
We are looking forward to the new year ahead; starting a new chapter for 2021 and we know you will continue to help us fill the pages of the next chapter with all things wonderful for our TBS Tigers and amazing teachers and staff.
Happiest of holidays and all the very best to you and your families in the coming year!
Jessica Lestuk & Nicole Vivien Smith, your H.S.A. VPs

All families are reminded that New Jersey has imposed specific travel restrictions.  Virtually all travel outside the immediate region (NY, PA, DE, CT) will require a 14 day quarantine upon return.  This includes international travel as well.  For more information about travel restrictions, please visit: https://covid19.nj.gov/faqs/nj-information/travel-and-transportation/are-there-travel-restrictions-to-or-from-new-jersey

    iPad Training for Parents

As you may know, the iPads were sent home to the “A” rotation students if your child returned the Chromebook and the charger.  “B” students are scheduled to swap the Chromebooks for iPads on Thursday, December 17.

We are watching the weather closely. If we are not in school on Thursday, the swap will occur on Friday, December 18.

The students who have been in school are familiar with using the iPad. However, we know that parents and caretakers will need to be familiar as well. We have designated two dates for evening training for any adult who will be helping the children at home.
