    • Maker Monday will take place today for 6th and 7th grade only during Academic Support.


    • This Friday is the last day to contact Mrs. Singer about participating in Battle of the Books.


    • Attention all staff and students... the student council is sponsoring the "Soup-er Bowl" for the Flemington Food Pantry in celebration of the upcoming Super Bowl.  Please help support the food drive by donating nonperishable food items until Thursday, 1/30.  On each donation, please write your FIRST and LAST name on a piece of tape.  All the nonperishable goods can be placed in the labeled bins located at the school entrances.  2 donations will be randomly selected on Friday and the raffle winners will receive either a 49er's or Chief's t-shirt.  


    • Congratulations to 8th grader Chris Serrao for being awarded the New Jersey Association of Gifted Children's Distinguished Middle School Student of the Year!! Well done, Chris! It's the second year too, that one of our GT Vikings has been recognized for exceptional achievement. Andrew Leibowitz was honored last year.


    • Mock Trial will meet TODAY during Academic Support.


    • The league tournament took place Saturday. The kids wrestled from 7am to 7pm. Ben poff won his JV bracket. In the varsity bracket Owen Hall and Eric Homelund took 3rd place. The American Bulldog Derek Supthen won the 75-pound bracket and is the first 6th grader to win the League title. Cole American Steel Stangle won the 133-pound class and becomes the first 7th grader to win this honor.  When you see any wrestler congratulate them on taking the mat and representing our school.
